Key Ingredient(s) & Purpose: 2% Salicylic acid - Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA) Exfoliator 10% Glycolic acid - Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) Exfoliator.
Product Benefits: Salicylic acid will penetrate deep into hair follicle to help reduce cellular build up. Glycolic acid will aid in the natural sloughing off of dead skin cells. Excellent for spot treatment of acne breakouts. Kills bacteria that promotes acne formation. Helps to enhance the penetration of other topical products.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW: With its dual active ingredients, glycolic and salicylic acid, this cleanser is the perfect acne fighter and overall exfoliating astringent. It has a relatively high glycolic concentration (10%) and low pH so product strength should be thoroughly discussed with client. Inform your client that if excessive dryness or irritation occurs, to stop product use and call.
BHA / AHA Clarifying Astringent can be overly drying on some skin types if used AM and PM. Reduce usage if client complains and or switch to AHA 8 Astringent combined with Salicylic Cleanser. Changing usage regimen and or diluting with water can be a better alternative to stopping treatment when finding the perfect balance for your clients unique skin type and condition.
STARTER GUIDELINES
Combination / Oily Skin / Acne: Using a dry cotton round on a dry face, apply to treatment area. Allow to air dry.
